The Atlas motion recognition engine uses aircraft grade inertial sensors to map out your body's motions. Imagine a paint dot on your wrist, and when you move it, it leaves a 3D trail. We can essentially track that inertial sensor fingerprint and classify it to the correct exercise be it upper body exercises, or even leg exercises (like squats, dead-lifts, and lunges).
